  DX29 Or JD4200

Need some opions I'm looking at at new dx29 with a loader & 72" mid mount mower Or a JD4200 with same equipment both machines have HST the Deere has 85 hrs but will carry a new warrenty Anybody have any thoughts one way or the other they want 19'800 for both machines

Mick, sounds like a fair price to me for either machine. I own a JD4400, and like it, but I think I might favor the DX29 for mowing and some loader work because it has great visibility. If you wanted to buy a backhoe in the future I would favor the 4200 because of the superior JD47 backhoe design, attachment/detachment ease, and compatibilitiy with the belly mower. The 4200 is a little heavier tractor (about 200 lbs heavier), which is good for the loader and backhoe, but worse for mowing.
